Edit an AWS IAM Policy

Follow

You can edit user-managed AWS IAM policies (to easily find the policies you can edit, use the Policy Type filter on the policy list page). You can also clone any system-managed or AWS-managed IAM policies using the ellipsis menu on the policy and edit the clone, as the clone will be a user-managed policy.

To edit a user-managed AWS IAM policy:

  1. In the left navigation menu, click Cloud Management > AWS IAM Policies.
  2. Click on the ellipsis icon next to the AWS IAM policy and select Edit from the drop-down menu.
  3. Make any changes you like to the following fields: AWS IAM Policy Name, Description, Owners, or AWS IAM Policy.
  4. Click Update IAM Policy.

If you make changes to the JSON policy, it will apply across all cloud accounts where the policy is applied via projects and OUs.
