Viewing AWS AMIs

AMIs are used to create EC2 instances via a disk snapshot, which can be shared to AWS accounts. An AMI must already exist in an AWS account before it can be shared in Once an AMI is shared with an AWS account, users of the AWS account will be able to launch an EC2 based on the AMI.

To view all the AWS AMIs:

  1. In the left navigation menu, click Cloud Management > AWS AMIs.
  2. You will see a list of your AWS AMIs.

You can click on the name of the AMI to see its details and associated cloud rules, projects and OUs.
